The IELTS / The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (paper based test) is a standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native
speakers of English.
The Computer-Delivered IELTS has been implemented by IDP, a co-owner of IELTS. It already exists in five major cities of India- Bengaluru, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai. The computer-delivered test is only for the Listening, Reading, and Writing modules and for the Speaking Test; it remains
face-to-face test with an experienced examiner. The advantages of taking this test are that the results will be out within 5-7 business working days and multiple test
dates and slots are available throughout the year.
Attention: Candidates must be good at typing. Typing speed should be at a good rate. Practice a lot, sending letters to friends and relatives so you would type better.
Most importantly, spelling and punctuation are to be taken care well.
Both the types of tests are accepted by more than 9,000 education institutions, governments, and professional organizations in US/UK/IRELAND/AUS/NZ/CAN/EUR/SIN/MAL.
IELTS general caters to migration/PR/ work abroad requirements; IELTS Academic for overseas education/study abroad.
